2012 Season
Focus: Bullying and Violence

2012's tour focused on community violence and bullying.

According to the National Association of School Psychologists:

  • Being either a bully or a victim of bullying is associated with dropping out of school, poor psychosocial adjustment, criminal activity and other negative long-term consequences.
  • Both bullies and victims show higher rates of fighting than their peers.

Bullying is not "part of growing up." It involves emotional damage and often physical harm that hurts every individual involved, as well as the surrounding community.
